What the Technique is
Panning involves tracking a moving subject with your camera while using a slower shutter speed. This keeps your moving subject sharp while completely blurring the static background into dynamic horizontal lines.
My Thoughts
It was tricky at first to track a moving subject while keeping the horizontal level the same, but I think I got the hang of it by the end, and it was so satisfying to see the motion blur turn out well.
